*RARE ITHACA NID GRADE-2E MAGNUM S/S SHOTGUN. SN 500537. Cal. 10 ga. 32″ bbls w/tapered matted concave rib, brass center and ivory front, 3-1/2″ chambers, FULL/FULL choke and selective single trigger and ejectors. The Grade-2 receiver has bold foliate scroll and quail w/”ITHACA GUN CO” on left side and woodcock w/”ITHACA, N.Y.” on right. Eight pointed star w/punch dot border on hinge pin and stippled top of receiver. Mounted w/select fiddle-back walnut w/multi-point checkered pistol grip, hard rubber grip cap and leather-faced vented recoil pad. Checkered beavertail forend w/ebony tip insert. Bore diameter: left .780, right .780. Bore restrictions: left .048, right .018. Wall thickness: left .069, right .070. Drop at heel: 2-1/2″, drop at comb: 1-3/4″. Weight: 11 lbs. 4 oz. LOP 13-7/8″. CONDITION: Fine. Bbls retain 80-85% orig blue w/thinning in chamber area, muzzles and rubs from forearm, numerous storage nicks and dings w/some moderate pitting at the muzzle. Front bead is a replacement w/filler screw in orig hole. Receiver has 70-75% orig case colors, thinning on bottom and sharp edges and blending w/silver patina. Stock is sound w/a minor chip and hairline crack behind top tang and nice checkering, w/a few minor nicks and dings, orig finish w/some chemical spotting and an added oil finish on right side near recoil pad. Forend is sound w/good checkering, some minor handling marks and most of its orig finish. Mechanics are crisp w/selector blocked from selecting left bbl first; has safe and right as only option.
