FACTORY ENGRAVED MERWIN & HULBERT 3RD MODEL POCKET ARMY SINGLE ACTION REVOLVER. Cal 44 Russian. SN 3747. Nickel finish with bbl cut to 5 1/16”. Front sight is missing as is about half of the bbl address. It has about 50% coverage coarse factory engraving of leaves and vines and a Mexican eagle on the sideplate. It has open top with scooped flute cylinder and birdhead grip with integral lanyard hole. It has checkered hard rubber grips. CONDITION: As noted, fair to good. Retains 15-20% original factory nickel with balance silver/gray metal color. Grips are worn and turning brown with a repaired stress crack in the right side. Screws are slightly battered. Mechanics are a little loose and don’t lock up tight, bbl is shiny with scattered pitting. Bbl appears to have been cut during period of use. 4-51269 JR12 (1,250-2,250)
