ANTIQUE WINCHESTER MODEL 1894 TAKEDOWN RIFLE. Cal. 30 WCF. SN 94100. Standard grade rifle with 26” rnd bbl, full magazine, Marbles bead front sight, missing the bead, with semi-buckhorn rear sight. It has uncheckered wood with straight stock and crescent steel buttplate. CONDITION: Bbl & magazine tube retain about 95% original blue with scattered light surface rust with a spot or two of pitting on the mag tube. Takedown ring retains traces of blue with moderate pitting. Receiver retains 60-70% thin original blue with the balance a light patina and scattered light surface pitting. Lever & hammer retain 30-40% dark case colors. Wood is sound and retains most of an old restored finish. Strong bore, dark in the grooves. 4-51494 JR787 (1,250-1,750)
