ANTIQUE WINCHESTER MODEL 1894 LEVER ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 38-55. SN 106036. Standard grade rifle with 26” rnd bbl, full magazine, half-nickel front sight with screw, semi-buckhorn rear sight. It has uncheckered wood with straight stock and crescent buttplate. CONDITION: Fine to very fine. Bbl & magazine tube retain about 95% dull original blue with scattered pinpoints of rust around the rear sight. Receiver retains 75-80% thin original blue with scattered light surface spotting and striation lines down both sides. Lever & hammer retain 50-70% case colors. Wood is sound with the stock retaining about 95% original varnish and the forearm about 60% with a large gouge. Bright shiny bore, good mechanics. 4-51959 JR1168 (750-1,250)
