IVES IRON TOY. Ives phoenix ladder wagon made for a number of years in the 1800s early 1900s, this popular toy was made as a ladder wagon, foot patrol or pumper. This example features a japanned and a white horse, two fireman, several ladders, an axe and two fire buckets. Typical of Ives intricacy played a part in their design of the wonderful toys they made. SIZE: 26″ long. CONDITION: Overall very good, replaced accessories including rear steering wheel and buckets, minor paint touch up to figure and rear seat. 1-8101 (800-1,200)
