*LATE WWII M1 GARAND RIFLE. Cal. 30-06. SN 3500052. Standard Garand with 24” bbl, battle sights with walnut stock & handguards. Stock has a “G.A.W.” cartouche & Ordnance wheel on left side by the wrist with a circle “P” on bottom of wrist and a tiny Ordnance wheel on bottom of the grip. Bbl is Springfield dated “1945”. CONDITION: Extremely fine plus. Appears to be new & unissued retaining virtually of its orig Springfield finish to both metal & wood. All visible parts appear to be orig Springfield although complete disassembly was not affected to examine the small parts. Wood is sound with light storage nicks & dings & retains a bright oil finish. Parkerizing on metal is crisp & light green. Mechanics are crisp, brilliant shiny bore. 4-31184 JR470 (1,000-2,000)
