LOT OF MISCELLANEOUS OLD AMMO. 1) Extremely rare box of Cal. 45-40 Government multi-ball ammunition, made by UMC. It is in a 2-pc Kraft colored box with red & black writing. It has the cartridge information on the lid and “Black Powder” on the sides and ends. The cartridges are a normal 45-70 case with a domed portion of a ball from the mouth with a second ball inside the case. –Box is very soiled, missing part of the top, with open seams, ammunition is mostly bright with 3 or 4 rnds having corrosion on the head. 2) Three boxes of miscellaneous 45-70, one with pull string top, still sealed. –Fair, good. 3) Full box Remington UMC Cal. 44 Spcl., round corner, 2-pc, green label & band, black powder.–Soiled with taped band, worn edges, light rubs. 4) Four other miscellaneous boxes, late Cal. 44-40, mostly full, Cal. 38 S&W, Cal. 38 Short, German 2-pc pink label box for 38 S&W containing miscellaneous rim fire ammo. –Some partial, mostly good. 4-50713 JR1142 (750-1,250)
