*INTERNATIONAL HARVESTER M1 GARAND SECRETARY OF NAVY TROPHY. Cal. 30-06. SN 5109616. Standard Garand with all standard dimensions and finish with parkerized metal and oil finished stock & hand guards. Bbl is orig Harvester dated “11 54”. It has a Springfield bolt with Springfield trigger group and parts that appears to be an old re-work. Accompanied by a DD form 1348-1 with dates in 1990 awarding this rifle to Quartermaster Chief Joseph Dugan who was, at that time, stationed at Treasure Island. The match was held at Miramar Naval Air Station. CONDITION: Very fine to extremely fine, as noted. Retains virtually all of its arsenal finish to both metal & wood. There are a couple of gouges on forearm, otherwise wood is fine. Mechanics are crisp, bright shiny bore. 4-30807 JR227 (1,750-2,750)
