*WINCHESTER MODEL 42 SKEET GRADE PUMP ACTION SHOTGUN. SN 158309. Cal. 410. 28″ bbl including Cutts compensator, with early factory Simmons rectangular based vent rib marked “Simmons Patented” on left side with Winchester Circle WP proofmark on left side of rib, on bbl and receiver. 3″ chamber and Skeet marked. Standard receiver with rib extension, mounted with fancy feather grain walnut, checkered pistol grip, steel grip pad, Winchester logo, checkered, handrubbed buttplate and checkered Skeet forend. CONDITION: Fine. Bbl retains 95-98% original blue with wear mark from forend on each side and a few minor light scratches. Edge wear on operating bar and some visible wear to magazine tube extension. Receiver has 97-98% original blue with some minor sharp edge wear and minor rub mark from forend. Stock has a few minor nicks and dings and a little flaking of the finish near the receiver but retains most of its original factory finish. Forend is sound with good checkering and carries a hand worn patina to its original finish. Mechanics are crisp with shiny bore and comes with just the one spreader tube on compensator. 4-35032 BDT131 (2,500-3,500)
