*SPRINGFIELD MODEL 1922 MII BOLT ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 22. SN 1399B. Usual conversion of an M1 model to an M2 model with 24” tapered rnd bbl dated “4-42” with front sight hood and a Lyman Model 48C receiver sight. It has the usual M2 bolt. Mounted in an uncheckered, straight grain, American walnut half stock with grasping grooves and semi-pistol grip with checkered buttplate without trap. It has orig sling swivels. Bottom of grip is stamped “M2” and it has the Springfield cartouche on left side of butt. CONDITION: Metal retains virtually all of its arsenal reconditioned, parkerized finish. Stock is sound and retains about all of an old refinish. Mechanics are crisp, bright shiny bore. 4-30802 JR238 (750-1,250)
