OUTSTANDING GOTHIC STYLE HEAVILY CARVED OAK CENTER TABLE. Molded edge top has cut corners supported by a frieze heavily carved with leaf scrolls and having a scalloped edge with four corner carvings on lion’s heads with brass hanging rings. Trestle base having carved melon type posts supported by four large dolphin fish carvings and round ball feet. A center stretcher has scroll leaf molded design. Last half of the 19th Century. SIZE: 31” h x 52-1/2” w x 35-1/2” d. CONDITION: Generally very good with nice dark patina. 9-71612 (4,000-6,000)
