GEORGE POCHEPTSOV (American, 1992- ) “ELEPHANT DANCE”. Acrylic on paper abstract painting shows a figure with elephant and human features standing over two other figures surrounded by natural type elements including a brightly colored stylized butterfly. Bright colors in a Picasso style composition. Signed lower right “George 1999”. Painting is mounted on white board and beautifully framed in a flower design gilt gesso decorated frame. Certificate of Authenticity from the Merrill Chase Galleries stating artist, title and medium is attached to back. Georgie was 7 years old when he executed this painting. He started painting at the age of 17 months. His magical world has appeared in many leading magazines including Art & Antiques, Art News and Time.
