BRITTON’S PATENT TOOL KIT CANE. 35-1/2″ overall with tool section in the center. Nickel plated collar marked “BRITTON’S PATENT / MCH.13,1894 / HORACE BRITTON / STOUGHTON, MASS. U.S.A. / SOLE MA’F’R”. This section unscrews from the head which holds eight tools including three spade drills, two spiral drills, a chisel, a nail puller, and a screwdriver. The tool holder clamp, which also acts as a screw to hold the lid, is marked “PAT’D NOV.28-93”. CONDITION: Shaft retains most of an old repaint. Collar and top are fine. 4-51276 FS463 (300-500)
