FINE SYMPHONION WALNUT TABLETOP DISK MUSIC BOX. Double cone mechanism with serial number “96276” holds an 11-3/4” disk. Hinged cover with walnut veneers has lion head pull and opens with a cover inset with cherub musical print. An inner glass cover with ebonized wood trim. Case with burl walnut veneers and three quarter turned columns at corners. Two side handles. Comes with twelve 11-3/4” disks. PROVENANCE: From a Downeast, Maine Collection. SIZE: 9” h x 15” d x 19-1/2” w. CONDITION: Plays well, might need a cleaning. Top has veneer chips and buckling. Otherwise very good. 9-70423 (1,500-2,500)
