*REMINGTON 1903 BOLT ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 30-06. WWII production 1903 with bbl dated “6-42”, 1-pc stock with long hand guard and Boit 44 military sling. Left side of the buttstock has faint letters “VFW”. Accompanied by a ground down M1903 bayonet with 6-5/8” blade. SN 3143505. CONDITION: Very fine. Metal retains 96-97% original parkerizing, except the floorplate and trigger guard, which is about 85%. Wood is sound and has a fine hand rubbed linseed oil patina. Sling is dry and crackled but sound. Bore is dark and pitted apparently from blank firing. Bayonet as noted, about good. 4-47849 JR580 (300-600)
