*FINE WINCHESTER MODEL 21 SKEET GRADE SIDE-BY-SIDE SHOTGUN. SN 15114. Cal. 20 ga. 26″ bbls, factory vent rib with silver center & red Bradley front sighting bead, 2-3/4″ chambers, choked MOD / FULL, sgl selective trigger & ejectors. Standard blue receiver with “SKEET” marked trigger plate. Mounted with fancy flame grain walnut with checkered side panels, checkered pistol grip with Winchester hard rubber grip cap, Winchester solid red recoil pad & checkered beavertail forend. Bore diameter: left -.616, right -.616. Bore restrictions: left -.021, right -.009. Wall thickness: left -.023, right -.021. Drop at heel: 2-1/8″, drop at comb: 1-5/8″. Weight: 6 lbs. 13 oz. LOP 14″. Accompanied by Cody Firearms Museum fact sheet identifying gun as 20 ga. Skeet grade with 26″ bbls, vent rib, choked MOD / FULL, with pistol grip, with checkered butt & Skeet finish, drop at heel 2-1/2″, drop at comb 1-1/2″, 14″ LOP; into warehouse Nov. 22, 1948; shipped from warehouse Nov. 24, 1948, and sold to Marshall Fields Co. on order no. 1752-50C. Additional notes: gun had interchangeable bbl of 26″, vent rib, WS1&2 choke. CONDITION: Very fine, as restored. Bbls retain 98-99% fine factory quality restored blue with just a few minor handling marks. Receiver has 92-95% factory quality blue with some thinning at edges on bottom & a couple of minor nicks & scrapes. Skeet mark is crisp & clear. Factory replacement stock is sound with minor hairline behind top tang & a few minor light handling marks; retains most of its fine factory quality finish. Forend is sound, orig as numbered to gun & has only a few light handling marks in its factory quality restored finish. Receiver may be orig finish, as the polish & color are that good.
