*NICELY RESTORED WINCHESTER MODEL 21 DELUXE SKEET 2-BBL SET. SN 19176. Cal. 16 ga. 1ST SET: 28″ bbls with tapered, matted, concave rib, silver center & red Bradley front sighting beads, 2-3/4″ chambers, WS1 / WS2 chokes with side of left bbl marked “WINCHESTER 16 GAUGE / 2-3/4 CHAM”. 2ND SET: 28″ bbls with tapered, matted, concave rib, brass center & red Bradley front sighting beads, 2-3/4″ chambers, MOD / FULL chokes with side of left bbl marked “WINCHESTER 16 GAUGE / 2-3/4 CHAM”. Sgl trigger & ejectors. Standard receiver with “DELUXE” stamped above trigger plate screw & “SKEET” below. Possible “DELUXE” is an added stamping during restoration. Mounted with nicely figured feather grain walnut, checkered pistol grip, Winchester hard rubber grip cap, Winchester solid red recoil pad, Monte Carlo comb & checkered beavertail forend. 1ST SET: Bore diameter: left -.669, right -.669. Bore restrictions: left -.009, right -(.020). Wall thickness: left -.027, right -.028. Drop at heel: 2-1/8″, drop at comb: 1-1/2″. Weight: 7 lbs. 5 oz. LOP 13-7/8″. 2ND SET: Bore diameter: left -.663, right -.665. Bore restrictions: left -.028, right -.018. Wall thickness: left -.026, right -.025. Drop at heel: 2-1/8″, drop at comb: 1-1/2″. Weight: 7 lbs. 8 oz. LOP 13-7/8″. Accompanied by Cody Firearms Museum letter identifying gun as 16 ga. Skeet grade, 28″ bbl, WS1 / WS2 chokes, sgl trigger, non-automatic safety, pistol grip, checkered butt, 14″ LOP, 2-1/2″ x 1-1/2″; started inspection Aug. 23, 1948, & completed same day. Also accompanied by second letter from Connecticut Shotgun Manufacturing, acting in capacity of authorized custom shop for U.S. Repeating Arms / Winchester, adding a set of 28″ bbls, MOD / FULL, to this gun. CONDITION: As new, from restoration. Both sets bbls retain virtually all of their restored fine factory-quality blue finish. Receiver has great polish with crisp straight lines & retains virtually all of its fine factory-quality restored blue finish. Stock is solid with tiny chip behind top tang & serial numbered to gun with black marking pen in trigger guard channel; appears to be factory stock & retains most of its restored factory style finish. Forend is sound & numbered to gun, has 1/4″ ebony insert on bottom adjacent to forend iron, with tiny hairline crack on each side of this piece of ebony; a few minor nicks & dings in its restored factory style finish, with nice checkering. Mechanics are crisp with non-automatic safety, strong ejectors & nice shiny bores in both sets of bbls. 4-37221 BDT115 (6,000-8,000)
