Cal. 16 ga. 1ST SET: 26″ bbls with tapered, matted, concave rib, with ivory center & red Bradley front sighting beads, 2-3/4″ chambers, WS1 / WS2 chokes; left side of bbl at chamber marked “WINCHESTER – 16 GAUGE”. 2ND SET: 30″ bbls with tapered, matted, concave rib, with silver center & silver front sighting beads, 2-3/4″ chambers, IMP-CYL / MOD chokes; top left bbl at chamber marked “MADE IN U.S.A. WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS CO. / – NEW HAVEN. CONN. – PATENTS PENDING – “. Sgl selective trigger & ejectors. Standard receiver with “TRAP” stamped on trigger plate above screw. Mounted with select feather grain walnut, checkered side panels, checkered straight grip, extremely rare left side factory cheekpiece, Winchester red recoil pad & checkered beavertail forend. 1ST SET: Bore diameter: left -.668, right -.667. Bore restrictions: left -.011, right -(.010). Wall thickness: left -.025, right -.031. Drop at heel: 2-1/2″, drop at comb: 1-1/2″. Weight: 7 lbs. 5 oz. Accompanied by Cody Firearms Museum letter identifying gun as Trap/Skeet grade, 16 ga., 26″ WS1 / WS2, sgl trigger, non-automatic safety, straight grip, beavertail, cheekpiece, Winchester recoil pad, 14-1/2″ pull, 2-1/2″ x 1-1/2″, made for Von Lengerke & Antoine; Trap interchangeable bbl, 16 ga., 30″ IMP-CYL / MOD; started inspection May 15, 1935, & completed May 17, 1935. Housed in contemporary leather 2-bbl case. CONDITION: Extremely fine, as new from probable factory restoration. 1st set of bbls retains nearly all of what appears to be factory-quality restored blue; 2nd set is similar, as both are just fabulous rust-blued finish. Receiver has virtually all of a factory-quality finish with body carrying a slight purple tint with a fine, crisp, blued floor plate. Trigger guard has 99% blue. Stock is sound with sharp checkering & retains virtually all of its fine restored factory oil finish. Forend is solid with crisp checkering & virtually all of its fine restored factory oil finish.
