*B.S.A. Co SMLE BOLT ACTION RIFLE. SN 52811. Cal. 303. 24-1/2” rnd bbl. Marked “crown / G.R / D.S.A. Co / 1917 / Sht. L.E / III*” on the right receiver ring. The asterisk has been marked off. The military sling is not marked. The safety also in marked with the III mark. CONDITION: Blue/gray patina overall with traces of orig finish on the sight guard. Stock was altered at the butt with a large replaced part at the top. Action is good. Sling has light cracks and scuffs. From the Collection of the late Barney Frost. 4-53555-96 FS274 (150-300)
