*SPORTERIZED ROSS MODEL 1905 STRAIGHT PULL RIFLE. SN 6585. Cal. 280 (measures .30). 27-1/2” rnd bbl. The stock has been cut off at the rear bbl band, probably in 1974, as there is a Kennedy coin with that date inlaid into the left side of the stock. CONDITION: Gray patina except bbl, which has 50% blue and a lead plug in the bbl ahead of the chamber. Stock has been sanded and varnished but most of the military markings are still readable.
