ERNEST PARTON (American, 1845-1933) SUMMER LANDSCAPE WITH LILY POND. Oil on wood panel summer scene shows small pond lined with grasses and white lily pads on surface. Tall birch like trees in foreground with colorful hillside as backdrop under a light white and gray sky. Signed lower left “E. Parton”. Housed in what appears to be its original frame which is gilt gesso decorated wide frame with name tag. CONDITION: Very good. Two nail holes to top of panel and small inpainted area. 9-99668 (3,000-5,000)
