STOWELL BRADFORD SHERMAN (AMERICAN, 1886 – ) “WINTER SHADOWS”. Oil on canvas New England winter scene shows a sleigh filled with recently cut wood going back to the farm with its connected red barns. A large grove of trees flanks the scene of connected snow-covered hills in background. Shadows turn the snow to a light blue. Housed in a light, white-washed, carved wood frame with gray inside edge. Two exhibit labels on reverse. SIZE: 26″ x 30″. CONDITION: Very good, one very small closed puncture. 9-20158 (1,200-1,600)
