MOSER DECORATED PARROT VASE. Outstanding Moser pillow vase is blown in deep cobalt blue glass with applied rigaree decoration on each side and four applied reeded feet. Front of the vase is decorated with a heavy applied parrot with outstretched wings perched upon an oak branch. Vase is further decorated with brightly colored oak leaves and four applied acorns. Rigaree decoration and feet are gilded and the vase is finished with a yellow enameled filigree band around the top. Signed on the underside in gold “591.D.C78 Moser”. SIZE: 7″ t. PROVENANCE: From a private Midwest Collection. CONDITION: Very good with a small nick to bottom edge of two feet. 5-64256 (1,000-2,000)
