*EARLY WINCHESTER MODEL 42 SKEET PUMP SHOTGUN. Cal. 410. SN 9538. Very early skeet gun with 26” plain bbl choked SKEET with 3” chamber. Mounted with straight grain, checkered, American walnut with large rnd target forearm and straight stock, 13-3/4” over a Winchester hard rubber buttplate. A scarce, early ’42. CONDITION: Very fine. Overall retains 95-97% strong, bright, orig factory blue with a few scattered freckles of light surface discoloration and a few light scratches on left side of receiver. Wood is sound with light handling & storage marks and retains most of its orig factory varnish. Mechanics are fine, bright shiny bore. 4-30721 JR430 (2,000-3,000)
