LARGE PAIR OF CARVED IVORY LIDDED JARS. Matched pair of jars having Foo Dog mask handles having green jadeite loose rings. Body with intricate carving of serpent panels inset with small colored beads. Beads include malachite, turquoise, lapis and other semi-precious stones. Bases having some writing. Each having different covers, one with woman and a horse and the other with a man with horse. SIZE: 23-3/4” h x 4-1/2” at widest. CONDITION: Generally very good, two minor chips to woman cover and some age cracks. 9-71049 (6,000-8,000)
