*CASED CSM MODEL 21 GRAND AMERICAN TWO BARREL SET. SN W38334. Cal. 20 ga. First set of bbls: 30″ with tapered matted concave rib, single ivory sighting bead, 2-3/4″ chambers choked Mod/Ful. Second set bbls: 28″ with tapered matted concave rib, single ivory sighting bead, 2-3/4″ chambers choked IMP-CYL/Mod. Each bbl is marked on left “Model 21 – CSM Trademark – 20 gauge 2 3/4″. There is also 2-3/4″ wedge of scroll engraving on each bbl. Gold single selective trigger and ejectors. Receiver engraved in Winchester Grand American style with foliate arabesque style and gold retriever on left side, gold pointing dog on right, gold pheasant in flight on bottom and gold woodcock in flight on triggerguard bow. Mounted with feather grain walnut, B-carved pistol grip, engraved steel gripcap, leather covered pad, B-carved beavertail forend with ebony inset tip for each bbl. First set of bbls: Bore diameter: left – .619, right – .618. Bore restrictions: left – .025, right – .013. Wall thickness: left – .031, right – .036. Drop at heel: 2-1/2″, drop at comb: 1-3/4″. Weight: 7 lbs. 5 oz. LOP 13-7/8″. Second set of bbls: Bore diameter: left – .616, right – .616. Bore restrictions: left – .013, right – .006. Wall thickness: left – .032, right – .033. Drop at heel: 2-1/2″, drop at comb: 1-3/4″. Weight: 7 lbs. 4 oz. LOP 13-7/8”. Accompanied with leather luggage case. CONDITION: Very fine. Bbl blue is 97-98% on 30″ bbls with slight muzzle wear and a little thinning on bottom in front of forend and a few minor scratches. 28″ bbl is 98-99% original blue with a few minor light handling marks. Receiver is 97-98% original blue with a little thinning across bottom and sharp edges. Stock is sound with a few minor handling marks and retains most of its fine original finish. Initial shield is engraved “LAC”. Leather covered pad has minor scuffing at edges. Both forends are sound with minor light handling marks and retain nearly all of their original finish. Mechanics are crisp with automatic safety, strong ejectors and bright shiny bores. Leather case is solid with good straps and minor scratches and scuffing. 4-35774 BDT125 (22,500-27,500)
