Pencil, watercolor and crayon Housed in thin natural wood frames with ivory matte and behind glass First signed lower right “Grant Wood”, second unsigned SIZE: Sight: 5″ x 13″ and 7″ x 12″. Overall: 14-3/4″ x 20-3/4″ and 15-3/4″ x 20″. PROVENANCE: Acquired from the artist; to the Hansons, Sotheby’s arcade NY 6/23/87 lot 326, private Massachusetts collection. Note: Grant Wood, his mother and his sister Nan lived in the right hand house depicted in the first drawing and Mr. & Mrs. Paul Hanson, close friends of the Wood family, lived in the left hand house.
