*THE FIRST WINCHESTER MODEL 94 CANADIAN PACIFIC COMMEMORATIVE RIFLE. Cal. 32 WS. SN CPC1. Beautiful commemorative rifle with 24” tapered rnd bbl, Sheard brass bead dovetail front sight & full buckhorn orig Marbles rear sight. Mounted with matching, tiger-stripe, uncheckered, American walnut with straight stock & semi-crescent, smooth buttplate with “CPR” branded in right side of butt. Receiver, lever & forend cap are coin finished with receiver having an etched panel on left side of an early steam locomotive passing over a trestle in a mountain setting. Right side is nicely etch engraved with the shield of the Canadian Pacific Railway. Both sides have a railroad track border. Bbl is marked on right side of chamber “CANADIAN PACIFIC CENTENNIAL”. This beautiful rifle was given to consignor by the President & CEO of USRAC/Winchester in about 1997. It had been in storage in the Browning-Winchester factory safe in Morgan, Utah. Accompanied by its orig Styrofoam box with owner’s manual & colorful sleeve. CONDITION: Pristine new in the box, unfired. Retains all of its orig factory finish to both metal & wood. Box is fine with the sleeve having a few worn edges and a small tear or two.
