FREDERICK WARREN ALLEN (American, 1888-1961) ABRAHAM LINCOLN. Large bronze relief plaque shows a 24” half bust of a side view of Abraham Lincoln. Across top of bronze in large letters “ANNO MDCCCCXXII D D”. Bottom 8” section is flared out and shows a spread wing eagle. Signed “F W Allen 1911”. Also stamped “Ideal Casting Co. Prov. R. I.”. Working throughout the New England area; his Allen’s works are also found in the Boston Museum of Fine Arts amongst others. SIZE: 36” x 22”. CONDITION: Very good. 9-98602 (3,000-5,000)
