*FRANZ SODIA 410 BOXLOCK EJECTOR SINGLE TRIGGER OVER-UNDER GAME GUN WITH CASE. SN 9460. Cal. .410. 3″ Chambers. 26″ Bbls are engraved “Kerr’s, Beverly – Hills” in unmatted portion of raised ventilated rib. Bottom bbl is stamped with 1960 Ferlach proofs, “Bohler Stahl” and SN. Coin finished boxlock scallop backed action features dbl Kersten locking system, sgl selective trigger, and non-automatic safety (engraved “S” “O” and “U”). Action is engraved with background of scroll surrounding game scenes of trio of pheasants on left side, and pigeons on right. Trigger plate is engraved with oval logo of “Franz Sodia Ferlach”. Top lever and trigger guard are blued. SN is on trigger guard tang. Lightly streaked and slightly figured European walnut pistol grip buttstock measures 14-1/2″ over Pachmyr white line pad, and features 22 LPI point pattern checkering with deeply mullered borders, and rosewood grip cap. Matching 3-pc forend has Deeley release. Drop at heel: 2-1/4″, drop at comb: 1-1/2″. Weight: 6 lbs. 11 oz, LOP 14-1/2″. Green canvas case with leather corners is lined in blue green cloth. CONDITION: Excellent. Bbls retain 90% blue with areas of silvering. Action retains nearly all its coin finish. Blue on trigger guard and top lever is silvering. Stocks retain most of their orig rubbed oil finish with numerous marks and scuffs. Grip cap is a replacement. Action is tight. Bbls are on face. Ejectors are in time. Trigger works. Case is fine, leather corners somewhat scuffed. Straps and handle show some use, but are strong. Interior is fine. 4-40015 MGM49 (4,500-6,500)
