*THE FIRST BROWNING / WINCHESTER MODEL 42 PUMP SHOTGUN. Cal. 410. SN 00001NZ882. This first production gun was a gift to the consignor in 1997 from the President & Vice-President of The Browning/USRAC Companies. It is a standard grade Model 42 with 26” vent rib bbl, full choke, 3” chamber with checkered, straight grain, American walnut having diamond checkered, large forearm & pistol grip stock with Browning black composition buttplate. Accompanied by its orig 2-pc, Styrofoam lined, black cardboard box & owner’s manual. Also accompanied by a Winchester red & white rnd plastic tag engraved “SERIAL #1” and a laminated business card from Don Gobel, President/CEO USRAC/Winchester. CONDITION: New & unfired. Retains virtually all of its bright, highly polished, orig factory finish on metal and about all of its orig factory finish on wood with a couple of small creases on forearm and a nick or two on stock with a tiny chip in toe of buttplate. Mechanics are crisp, bright shiny bore. Box is fine with minor water staining. 4-60420 JR35 (2,000-4,000)
