RARE NEW ENGLAND SHERATON WORK OR TAVERN TABLE IN ORIGINAL RED PAINT WITH SCRUB TOP. Base has straight skirts mortised in to four tapering ring-turned and reeded legs ending in half-ball feet. Top is one board with bread-board ends. Unusual form t find in this condition. Top was single nailed or pegged, presently detached. SIZE: Base 21″w x 35″. Top size 42 1/2″ x 2 1/4″. Total height 27 3/4″. CONDITION: Some wear to paint, crack in top. Otherwise very good. 9-90427 (2,000-4,000).
