ANCIENT ROMAN GLASS. Lot consists of two Ancient Roman amber colored glass items. First being a blown glass tumbler decorated with vertically etched lines and the accompanying bulbous decanter has tall slender neck and light iridescence. The Ancient Roman glass was the inspiration for Louis Comfort Tiffany to develop his iridescence favrile glass. You can see many influences of Ancient Roman glass design in Tiffany creations. SIZE: 3-1/2″ h and 7″ h respectively. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 5-67951 (200-400)
