PATENT MODEL: FOOTREST FOR CHAIRS BY JOSEPH H. TRAVIS. Original patent tag #168,398, dated September 28, 1875. Oak armchair with nicely turned front legs sans upholstery. Metal attachments are fastened to the underside of chair for the footrest, but there is no actual footrest included. SIZE: 6-1/2” l x 9” t x 7-1/2” d. CONDITION: Excellent original varnish surfaces; missing footrest. 1-1358 (300-500)
