EARLY AMERICAN CHINA HEAD DOLL, WOODEN DOLL’S PRAM, AND MINIATURE STIEFF BEAR. Late 19th century. The doll with porcelain paint-decorated head with blue eyes and black hair in period costume with kid hands, accompanied by a paint-decorated doll pram with spoked wheels and 3-3/4″ Steiff bear. SIZE: DOLL: 16″ overall h. PRAM: 33″ overall l. PROVENANCE: From a coastal Maine estate. CONDITION: Porcelain doll’s head in good condition. Pram with original paint, dry and flaking, with repairs to handle. The Stieff bear in as-found condition, with button in proper left ear. 9-93936 (800-1,200)
