*SMITH & WESSON TRIPLE LOCK TARGET DA REVOLVER. Cal. 44 spcl. SN 5440. Blued finish with 6-1/2” bbl, pedestal front sight and adjustable rear sight with smooth pearl grips. The front sight is a Stewart patent Sheard type with brass or copper bead. The left side of the grip frame, under the grips, is stamped with the factory reblue mark and the date “6-2-69”. It is accompanied by a factory letter identifying this revolver as having been shipped August 25, 1915 to the Anaconda Copper Mine Co Anaconda, MT. CONDITION: Extremely fine, as refinished. Retains virtually all of the beautiful bright factory blue. Front sight is probably original to this revolver as it was available as an order item from Smith & Wesson. Grips are fine and it has bright shiny bore. A fine target revolver with Western history. 4-51784 JR463 (1,250-1,750)
