*FINE CONDITION BERETTA S3EL SIDELOCK EJECTOR GAME GUN. SN 28728. Cal. 12 Ga. 2-3/4″ Chambers. 28″ Mono-block barrels with flat, narrow, matted, ventilated rib are stamped on left side of bbl “Bohler * Antinit Steel”, and left side of mono-block “P. Beretta – Gardone, V. T.” and “Made in Italy”. Bottom bbl is stamped with Italian nitro proofs, proof date of 1963, “S3”, and “EL”, as well as SN. Coin finished sidelock action has detachable locks with pins hidden under hinged covers, non-automatic safety, vented breeches and non-selective single trigger. Take down action is engraved with full coverage large shaded open scroll, with rose bouquet highlights. Bottom of action is engraved “P. Beretta – Gardone V.T.” and “Brevettato”. Matching steel trigger guard is engraved “Appositamente Costiuito Per L’Armeria Zucchi di Roma” on tang. Dense, nicely veined European walnut full pistol grip buttstock measures 14-1/2″ over black “Decelerator” pad, and features composition sunburst grip cap and 26 LPI checkering with line border. One piece matching forend has Deeley release. Bore diameter: top -.728, bottom -.729. Bore restrictions: top -.034, bottom -.024. Wall thickness: top -.029, bottom -.030. Drop at heel: 1-5/8″, drop at comb: 1-1/2″. Weight: 7 lbs. 1 oz, LOP 14-1/2″. CONDITION: Excellent, near new. Bbls have only a few light marks in original blue. Coin finish of action is bright.
