*RARE WINCHESTER MODEL 1890 PUMP ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 22 LR. SN 799039. Standard grade rifle with 24” tapered oct bbl, standard Model 90 open sights with 3/4 magazine. Mounted with exceptionally fine, uncheckered, highly figured, American walnut with tiny, rnd ribbed forearm & straight stock with crescent buttplate. Having such beautiful wood it is likely that this rifle was intended for a presentation or factory employee. CONDITION: Very fine. Bbl retains most of a professionally restored finish with the “WP” proofmark restamped. Magazine tube retains about 75-80% blue with balance flaked to patina. Receiver retains about 85% strong orig blue with the loss areas flaked to light patina. Wood is sound with light handling & use marks and retains about all of a very fine, professionally restored finish. Mechanics are crisp, bright shiny bore. 4-30663 JR324 (2,250-2,750)
