QUEEN ANNE STYLE FIGURED MAPLE LADY’S SECRETARY. Mid-20th century. The custom desk in two parts, the upper bookcase section with swan’s neck pediment, centering a turned finial above a pair astragal-glazed doors, fitted to the dovetailed lower case with hinged sloping lid, opening to an interior of valanced pigeonholes above a row of blocked serpentine drawers, the case fitted with four long drawers, the simulated frame base with scalloped apron, raised on cabriole legs with pad feet.
