NIEK VAN DER PLAS (American, 1954- ) “MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA”. Oil on wood panel summer scene shows small groups of beach goers, three with colorful umbrellas on a long stretch of Miami Beach. The large condominium complexes can be seen beyond the beach and several sailboats on the blue water. Signed lower right, also titled lower left. Housed in a fine gesso decorated gilt frame with linen liner. The work is also titled and signed on reverse and having artist brand. SIZE: 21-1/2″ x 26″.
