*WINCHESTER MODEL 1890 PUMP ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 22 short. SN 269859. Standard grade rifle with 24” oct bbl, standard open sights. Mounted with nicely figured, uncheckered, slab sawed American walnut with tiny, ribbed, rnd forearm and straight stock with crescent buttplate. Accompanied by Cody Firearms yellow sheet identifying this rifle as having been shipped May 16, 1906. CONDITION: Very fine to extremely fine. Overall retains 96-97% strong, dark, orig factory blue with two small blood spots on left side of receiver and some light pinpoint flaking on right side. Wood is sound with a small gouge on forearm and normal handling & use marks on buttstock, retaining most of orig factory varnish. Mechanics are crisp, bright shiny bore. 4-30665 JR321 (2,000-3,000)
