ENGLISH VICTORIAN FIGURED WALNUT CHIFFONIER. Mid-19th century. The cabinet with serpentine molded top above the conforming case, fitted with three mirrored and molded cupboard doors, flanked by molded corbels. The top fitted with a mirror plate within a molded surround, raised on foliate carved arms, headed by a foliate carved crest. The whole decorated with rich figured walnut veneers. SIZE: 71″ overall h. x 54-1/2″ w. x 19-1/2″ d. PROVENANCE: From an extensive private Gulf Coast collection. CONDITION: Retains original finish with good patina. Some re-attached moldings.
