CLASSICAL VICTORIAN MAHOGANY AND WALNUT PEDESTAL SIDEBOARD. Circa 1870. The rectangular mirrorplate flanked by rectangular molded supports, headed by carved corbels beneath the molded shaped crest rail headed by a large cartouche-shaped leaftip-carved crest, flanked by scrolling pediment ears, joined to the rectangular case raised on stepped pedestals, each fitted with doors conforming to mirror frame and each opening to a bank of drawers, the open center with single long drawer above leafy brackets, raised on a molded plinth. SIZE: 90-1/2″ overall h. x 84″ l. x 28″ d. PROVENANCE: From an extensive private Gulf Coast collection. CONDITION: Overall original fine condition.
