*VERY FINE PERAZZI S H O SINGLE TRIGGER GAME GUN WITH CASE. SN 5424. Cal. 12 Ga. 2-3/4″ Chambers. 26″ Demi-Bloc barrels with wide flat matted ventilated rib and ventilated mid-ribs, are engraved “Manufattura Armi Perazzi” on left side of top bbl. Bbl flats have Italian nitro proofs for 1968, and SN. Bottom of bottom bbl is engraved “Acciaio Special Demibloc”. Nicely filed and sculpted case hardened sidelock action features non-automatic safety (“Secura” engraved), gold line tumbler end cocking indicator, and non-selective single trigger. Action and lockplates are engraved with very nicely cut traditional shaded scroll with rose bouquet highlights. Bottom of action is engraved “M. A. P.” Engravers signature, “F. Iora” is on trigger plate in front of trigger guard bow. Trigger guard and top lever are blued. Pierced thumbpiece is in the form of a crouching mythological beast. Broadly marbled and nicely fiddle figured European walnut straight grip buttstock measures 14-1/4″ over checkered wood butt. Cleanly cut checkering is at about 32 LPI with line border. There is a gold oval on toe line with engraved “F J B” (?) monogram. Matching one piece forend has Deeley type release. Bore diameter: top -.730, bottom -.729. Bore restrictions: top -.023, bottom -.015. Wall thickness: top -.026, bottom -.030. Drop at heel: 2-1/2″, drop at comb: 1-1/2″. Weight: 6 lbs. 15 oz, LOP 14-1/4″. Dark brown leather trunk case is lined with red cloth. CONDITION: Essentially as new, appears unfired, showing only minor marks and rubs from assembly and handling, over the last 40 years.
