JAPANESE SHINTO MINO WAKIZASHI. 17 5/8” shinogi zukuri blade. Ubu nakago with two mekugi ana (two holes) that is signed “KANEIYE”. SIZE 26 ½” long overall. MOUNTS: Pierced iron tsuba. Fuchi kashira a soft brown patinated copper. Kashira with a shakudo mon. Floral menuki. Saya with lacquered multi-toned straight grain wood finish. Has kozuka decorated with four shi-shi lions, its blade signed “SUKEMASA”. CONDITION: Blade has been buffed and nothing is clear. Few deep scratches, some dings and a nick in the edge. Kozuka is banged up with dents. Minor chips to the saya lacquer. Also has pocket for the kogai but that is missing. 4-54992-3 GA19 (400-600)
