GALLE FAIENCE POTTERY VASE. Very nice bulbous vase with elongated neck features an insect with minute detailing down to the eyes on its face. This insect is hovering amongst flowers, leaves and stems on a multicolored iridescent ground receding into a deep brown with a tremendous amount of gold highlighting overall. This is an outstanding example of faience pottery created by Galle. Signed on the underside “E + G Nancy Depose”. SIZE: 5-1/2″ t. CONDITION: Small area of restoration to the neck as well as slight chipping to enamel decoration. 5-69832 (200-300)
