WEBB (WOODALL TEAM) CAMEO VASE. Outstanding Webb cameo vase is beautifully carved in an Oriental pattern on light celadon green glass as part of the “Chinese” series. The design includes roses with stems and leaves surrounding the entire body of the vase with additional Oriental patterns weaving through the roses and adorning the neck and lip. A similar vase is pictured in the book English Cameo Glass by Ray and Lee Grover; pg. 156, fig. C174. A line drawing of the vase is also shown in the Woodall sketch section of Grover’s book; pg. 321, fig. S86. Unsigned. SIZE: 8-3/4″ t x 6″ w. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with one tiny nick to a rose petal on the shoulder of the vase and one tiny tiny fleabite on the lip. 5-66533 (8,000-12,000)
