JAPANESE MOUNTED WAKIZASHI. 15” narrow shinogi zukuri blade, cannot remove tsuka to check if there is a mei. SIZE: 23”long overall. MOUNTS: All of the fittings are silver-plated over copper and brass. Hari menuki, one of Daruma, the other of a sahie, this tsuka never had tsuka ito (wrap). CONDITION: Blade is gray. Forging is unclear and is bent with some nicks. Lacquered saya is deeply carved to resemble wood bark. Minor dings and rubs to that finish. Has pocket for a kuzuka, no longer with it. Some wear to the silver finish of the mounts. 4-53742-15 GA15 (300-500)
