CUSTER RANGE SPRINGFIELD MODEL 1873 SADDLE RING CARBINE. Cal. .45/70. SN 19415, which places it in the Custer SN range. 22″ rnd bbl. The “ESA” cartouche on the left side of the stock is only partially readable. The bbl band has a stacking swivel, which is correct, and the long wrist on the stock. CONDITION: Rust brown patina overall with visible blue only on the lockplate and bbl band. Light pitting except hammer and buttplate which has moderate pitting. Light dents and scratches on the wood.
