SALESMAN SAMPLE SCHOOL DESK. Wonderful miniature classroom desk constructed of iron castings with an oak seat and seat back manufactured by A.H. Andrews & Co., Chicago, circa 1878. One of the unique features of this salesman sample is that when the lid is folded down over the book box it’s locked with a skeleton key for the purpose of securing books, papers, etc. SIZE: 15″ w x 24″ t. CONDITION: Very good with repainted castings and original wood seat and seat back. No desk lid but includes key. 1-11235 (400-600)
